A construction worker died after an accident at the Heights School in Potomac on Thursday.
Montgomery County Police have identified John Thomas Moran Jr., 27, from North East, Md., as the construction worker who died while working on a construction project for the school.
Fire and rescue services responded to a call at the Heights School on Seven Locks Road at around 8:43 a.m. Thursday for a report of a construction accident. According to police, the construction crew had been working on moving a portable building outside the school, when the moving building struck Morgan, who died from his injuries at the scene.
Montgomery County Police are investigating the incident as an accidental death and, personnel have notified the Maryland Occupational Safety and Health Department, which will assist in the investigation.
