I think as Christmas and the season of giving is upon us it would behoove us to make the most of the recent revelations from a Senate investigative committee regarding the torturing of prisoners by the CIA.This handy little “How to Book” with an executive summary of some 500 pages should be a wakeup call for all of us as we embrace the season of peace and joy.
For as the Bible tells us: A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass, and a rod for the fool’s back.
Instead of criticizing the CIA as John McCain has and shunning the use of torture, we should whole-heartedly embrace it.
For those who oppose us and those who think they can stand against us, we should line them all up and water board them, make them stand on broken limbs and go without food or the benefit of sleep. We should keep them from sanitary facilities, degrade them, flood them with white noise and bright lights, or no lights and interrogate them ceaselessly until they cough up the information we need to insure our peaceful way of co-existence and our love of freedom and charity is safe from harm. Even if the information is useless we’ve made our point.
There can be no arm unbent and no voice left spouting an opinion different from that of our country – “We hold these truths to be self evident that all men are created equal.”Those who do not believe in free speech must be silenced. Those who do not believe in equal protection under the law shouldn’t be protected and those who don’t believe in banning cruel and unusual punishment should be tortured. It is the only way to insure our peaceful, lawful way of life. And I’m not just talking about the military.Imagine. This should extend to all walks of life. If you don’t believe as we do we will not defend to death your right to your beliefs – you will conform to ours. Ours is the right way. Ours is the only way.
Instead of demilitarizing the police departments across the country – arm them to the teeth. If anyone stands against the police then they should be silenced quickly.
We cannot afford dissent or the appearance of it in the country where we all believe in the Christian values of loving thy fellow man, turning the other cheek and the right to speak our mind.
Anyone who shows any kind of resistance to the law must be quieted or the rest of the world will see us as wimps.
Using the handy CIA “How to Book” will show the rest of the world that we mean business. If you don’t want to be a Christian nation then you will suffer the consequences. If you want to try to change the law and if you perceive an injustice, then you’d better be silent and follow the rules of law.
We have no place in our country for people who loot and pillage their own neighborhoods because of pent-up frustration due to perceived injustice that has gone on for hundreds of years. Suck it up. We have no room for people who want to increase the minimum wage at the cost of those who own your lives. We have no care for those who want affordable health care. We have the Constitution and in order to defend all of our rights we have instituted a trickle-down economy that insures the rights of those who have the most property are protected and everyone else can do as they are told. If they are lucky and follow the rules, then maybe just maybe there will be the illusion of having what those who hold all the capital have – real freedom.
As there once was a dream of Rome, there is a dream of America. A place where all men are created equal where everyone can be inspired to own their own home, feed their families and be treated justly.
Everyone agrees these are all valuable commodities. Everyone loves that dream.
But if you want to achieve that dream, then you must follow the rules and continue to dream.
Remember the dream is more important than the reality.
You can’t disagree, you cannot dissent. Our Constitution guarantees that. Our lifestyle is predicated on it.
Shut up, sit down, don’t protest and don’t complain about how you are treated if you live here.
If you want to be a citizen and came here illegally – within the last 50 years – then go home and be quiet.
If you are an enemy of the state and think you are entitled to any rights – well you’re not.
We have the moral high ground and are willing to torture anyone to maintain it.
For ours is the way and the light and the power. Amen.
